Barnett Bicycle Institute graduate and aspiring racer, Sara has recently relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina where she works as a bicycle mechanic. She enjoys riding her road bike along the Blue Ridge Parkway and her mountain bike along the trails where she grew up. Her old stomping ground has become a new training ground where her pursuits will hopefully improve her racing resume and fulfill her dream to one day be a frame builder.

With Kelli Poindexter, Sara co-created Women on Wheels (W.O.W.), a popular instructional series offering basic tips to improve riding skills and mechanical knowledge to help women feel safe on their bikes.
