Molly,

I am sorry to hear of your injury.  Thank you for sharing your situation.  Chrissie Wellington, the Ironman Champion, recently injured her arm.  Perhaps you should look at her website.  She has a picture of herself riding a stationary bike while her covered arm is resting on a pillow on top of her handlebars.

Cheerfully,

Molly,

I am also sorry to hear about your injury. I absolutely understand injuries and also how to keep in shape even when you’re broken.

I would look into a stationary trainer to hook your bike onto. Giant makes two different trainers. One is the Cyclotron Mag II for $180 and the other is the Cyclotron Auto II for $260.

I have done my fair share of riding on a trainer whether is was because it was raining out or because I was injured. Just always be sure that if you start riding that you aren’t in a lot of pain and uncomfortable. Be sure that you are healed up enough from your crash that you’re not dizzy or light headed. If so stop immediately!

Okay well heal up fast and have fun!
Tara
