Need a rack for Suede DX
I love love love my Suede DX except for one thing...it doesn't have a rear rack! I use it to commute, and a rear rack would make it much easier for me to ferry my work clothes, lunch, and so forth to and from work. Giant doesn't seem to sell any that I can add after the fact (they've got one for bikes with disk brakes, which mine doesn't have, and one that does not look like it's configured right for my bike). Anyone else have this situation? Any advice?

I can ask at my bike shop. I noticed a rear rack at my bike shop earlier this week. Surely there will be some product that will work with your new Suede DX. Praying to God for specific guidance is the advice I like to give to sort through all the choices. Quality Bicycle Products has a large selection of accessories too. I recommend going to your local Giant dealer to ask for a recommendation or to ask someone to do a search for you in their paper or online catalogs. If you are uncomfortable going into a bike shop, I recommend prayer again. When I worked at a gym in Houston, I wore a backpack for my clothes, food, and books as I rode my Giant Alcapulco fitness bike to and from the job and around to other places like the grocery store and library. I will write again with a recommendation for a rack if I learn of one.

Giant’s rear bike carriers will fit. If you check out the Suede GX you will see that it comes with the Coasting Rack. It should fit your Suede too. Giant also has their black alloy rack that will fit.
Your local Giant dealer should be able to deck out your Suede with the right rack.
