More praise for the OCR W!

This time the Composite model steals the show. Reviewed in Bicycling magazine’s March 2007 issue, the OCR Composite W is the only women’s bike included in the gear guide covering carbon road bikes. Loren Mooney writes, “Since 1999 this magazine’s testers have reviewed nearly a dozen Giant OCRs, so we know they work well. And yet, there’s something about this cream-and-carbon looker that excited us anew, like the surprise of seeing an old friend who has lost weight.” And the compliments keep coming: “an ideal mate for centuries or anytime you want speed, but without a backache” and “this bike is pretty, and its spec is sharp too”.

All the bikes in the OCR series deliver equal parts performance and forgiving positioning for all-day comfort perfectly matched to nimble handling. Find your match in the Bike Finder of giantforwomen.com.

Avatar I love the look of the new OCRs, BUT SO DOES MY HUSBAND! Why did you have to put the BIG W on the bike, isn't the women's 5point star bad enough? The FCR1 is Hot looking also, BUT there again The BIG W stands right out there. So, if a guy really likes that color, he won't want to ride around with a BIG W on his frame. I know there are other differences in the bikes besides the color but some smaller framed men appreciate those differences also.
Avatar Hi Lynda--

Glad to hear that both of you like the new look!

We want to make sure that women understand that this is a product made for them-- which is why we include the W and the Five Point logo on our women's bikes. It's always nice to know that guys can appreciate the look too, but hopefully he can find a bike in the collection that fits his proportions. If not, he might be able to scratch out the W!

Cheers...
Avatar Can Giant tell me the weight difference between the OCRA1, OCRC3 and OCR1? I am comparing the small frame models. By the way, ALL of the 2008 road bike colors are excellent!
